INSIDE Door Handle

Hey guys,

In the process of painting/re-trimming my interior and i've got my door trims off and am left with the inside door handle to take off so I can re-paint it black (instead of the faded grey it is now)

How exactly do you get there off? I noticed the bronze pin that goes through the bit you pull to open the door so ive taken that out but what else is there left so I can take the whole handle out?

disconnect the rod and it should slide out either forwards or backwards.
it locks into place iirc so lifting the locking bits and sliding it will get it off the door
