as title says will rear vs ute live axle springs fit my vs sedan , only asking because someone has offered me a pair for 40 bucks so i cant complain for the price any info would be good also they are ssl cheers
yes they will if your sedan is also live axle
don't want to step on any toes here, but I thought the utes had two different size springs (10mm to be exact) - just checked my holden workshop cd and it gives the difference in springs definitely.
Left product code on spring tag is HL and the right is HR - same if it is a V8 or V6 - all others including sedans wagons have different tags for each vehicle but not each spring.

Standard ute springs are longer than sedan springs yes, but we are talking about lowered springs here not standard springs.
Even the longer ute standard springs will still fit in sedan, it will give a higher ride height but they will fit.
You can lower a ute using lowered springs designed for a sedan and visa verse.
So in answer to the op's question Yes the ssl springs out of your mates ute will fit your sedan! (assuming your sedan is live axle)
Yes both cars are live axle thanks for answering everybody .![]()
