    Default Is it worth getting a 5.0l Dyno Tuned?

    Hey everyone i took my vs ute down to the local performance shop for a power run on the dyno it got
    136.2killer wasps.

    A mate recently had his ls1 dyno tuned and pulled another 45 wasps atw's out of it.

    would the $1000 be worth it on a 5.0L am i going to get much more out of it? Cheers Jordz

    I have heard greanfoams memcals are wicked, i currently have a well tuned memcal in it.

    Why isnt it worth Dyno Tuning it?

    because $1000 is half way there to having a cam installed! :P but seriously, anything pre VT doesnt get ridonkulous power gains... 150rwkw is roughly what a healthy 5 litre should make after a tune and exhaust

    Ive just taken my vs in for its 5000km service reconditioned motor, extractors and full exhast straight through and i could only pull 136 thats rough, might hit greanfoam up then cheers
