Vs no power and car shakes help plz

hey guys

i was drivin 2 work the another day and my vs berlina just loss nearly all power and then the car shakes ( shutters) every time i put my foot on the gas + no power what do i do help plz

sounds like you may have a misfiring cylinder/s , check all of your leads and plugs. i had this problem recently and it turned out one of the leads was too close too my extractors and was arcing out or something, when i checked the leads it pretty much fell apart in my hand.
probably not exactly whats going on in your case if you are losing all power but start by checking the leads coilpack and plugs is my suggestion.

take the belt off grab your harmonic balencer and try to turn it left to right if it moves ur balencers stuffed

Had something like this once driving an old work car(a VN commy), turned out one of the three coil packs had carked it.
It lost lots of power cause it was only running on 4cylinders, and shuddered because of the imbalance of power, worth a look?

+1 for coil pack or DFI. i've had this exact problem

Same, DFI and Coil Pack,

I was on my way to Pick and Payless and the middle one went, so drove there on 4 cyclinders for about 2 kms, and then pick up a DFI and 3x Pack for $50

put them on right there in the car park,

purred like a kitten afterwards

SO this worked? I just realised that my car the past 2 days doesn't seem to be as fast and powerful as it used to be. Im a red p-plater and have had the car for a month or so i think, could it be that maybe I just don't feel it to be as fast as before because I have just gotten used to the power of the car or is it mechanical? It is alot slower and the speed seems right but it just doesnt feel fast...
