Have you looked at the terminals on the door switches? It used to be that the switches were simply disconnected.
Hey guys,
The BT1 pack contains the following: ABS, FE2 Sports Suspension, IRS, LSD, Driver's Airbag (SRS), 80L fuel tank, Sump protector plate and fuel tank protector plate, Door interior light switches disabled, map reading light/interior light (Calais light), special brake pads (front and rear), certified police speedometer, with light in instrument binnacle over speedo (to read speedo no lights on), and can be V6, V8 or HSV V8. The BT1 pack is added to an Executive.
I want to know how to re-enable Door interior light switches so that the interior light comes on when i open the door(s), very dark at night...haha.
Anyone know how to do this? Cheers in advance.

you mean the little button the door presses against when closed?
yeah i looked behind the button the other day and the wire was connected, any other ideas?
The door light switches go to the BCM (Body Control Module) which controls the interior light.Maybe they are disconnected or disabled there.
The VY BT1's have a switch in the centre console to dissable the interior lights so perhaps the VS's have a similar switch in their console or elsewhere?
mine has a switch under the stereo where it says IRS/ABS.. but it doesnt work nemore because my interior light comes in with the doors
Does the interior light come on when you manually switch it on?
