Dyno KW's on a 5Litlre on Gas
Hey guys, got my car on gas research gas, exhaust cold air intake and a Foam Chip. 5Litre VS
Gonna be getting the Gas System dyno tuned to suit the new Foam Chip tune.
What sort of power should i expect with the car been on gas....dont use petrol only gas....
Should i get more of a power increase with the Foam tune in place as well?
Really appreciate any replies in regards to this.

Could be anywhere from 110 to 150 rwkw, wild range I know but a 5 litre on gas can easily be anywhere in that range, you'll just have to wait and see
cool, well i have installed the chip and it has made a little improvement but i think once i dyno tune the gas to suit it should be more noticeable.....i hope so....my fuel economy is still poo....20L/100kms with just light driving on the h'way......so something def aint right....
Ive been told that the gas system is in definate need of a tune since other people seem to be getting 12L/100km for h'way and about 15-17L/100km for city drivin....
stupid question, what would a 5litre with 70mmtb, CAI, facotry extractors, 3in exhaust, 10mm top gun leads, highflow cat, premium plugs & a greenfoam tune make?

ive got a 5 litre vs ute on duel fuel. Was making 183 at the wheels before the conversion, but since the gas ring restricts the airflow chronically, its dropped off to 171rwkw when on petrol 98ron. This is with custom cam,exhaust,cai and tune. Still pretty happy with it. Havent tried dyno while switched to gas, but It still drives almost the same, maybe slightly less but barely noticeable.
