VS series 3 manual computer

Can anyone give me some info about the VS series 3 manual computer. Can i plug it straight into my series one manual VS wiring loom? Is there any difference between series 1 and 3 looms? Do series 3 require a knock sensor? Will the manual computer run a T5 and Getrag gearbox's? I'm running a T5 and don't know if manual computer's can work with both T5 and Getrag or need specific computer. If anyone has any other info about this stuff please reply. Cheers.

i dont know how you would go plugging a III VS computer into your series I coz a series III is a roller cam motor n would have a different set up, you will need to get it remapped to suit which would be more expensive than finding a series I..

8 or 6? Only the 5 litre would be a roller cam, I'm pretty sure the Ecotec is essentially the same VS-VY. I asked this a while back and was told that they had different tunes. Somebody like Delcowizzid should be able to sort you out with another tune.
