I've recently purchased a 1997 VS V6 with intentions of swapping all the interior over to calias from a '95 VR. The VS wiring was taken out but then replaced EXACTLY as it was before (after i realised the VR climate control unit wont fit into VS and the wiring from the calias doesnt all fit) wiring has been checked nothing wrong with it at all, crank angle sensor changed, fuel pump changed, coil packs changed, engine is getting spark. anyone got any ideas as to what might be wrong? worst part about this is that it was running fine and all thats been done is taken apart and put back together....
Um... What's actually wrong? The only thing that you've said is that you tried to do some sort of swap over between a VR and a VS, you haven't really mentioned any symptoms of what's happening.
lol yeah agreed RJK
have you tried changing bcm and ecu also what engine loom have you got in it atm.( your trying to run a buick engine with a ecotec wiring.) mine had a minor probs when i swapted looms and engines best to get into contact with BUDWIZER on this forum and i 100% gaurentee he will sort it all out for ya.
Since you put it back exactly as it was, there must be a loose connection somewhere, my guess would be the BCM not disabling the Immobilizer.
Is the Security light turning off when you turn it to Ignition?
