    Default lsd centre

    Hey guys,
    I've had an lsd centre sitting here for a few months now waiting to go in.... I'm not quite confident enough to give it ago on my own... so just wondering if anyone on the forum who lives up here would be up for giving me a hand.... I'm sure a carton or a bottle of something can be arranged

    I did mine mine by myself like last week, not that hard when you think about it , just time consuming. can be easily done in a few hours with a few spanners and sockets

    how did u go about doing it mate?

    im a heavy diesel mechanic by trade, and ive done a few diffs but from what ive been told the commodore is different.

    So you just replaced the whole diff? I'm only looking at changing the centre and I have live Axel rear end. See the main thing I'm not too sure about is shimming I have no idea on getting it all correctly adjusted

    ohhhhh you have a live axel , theres a thread on here about them.
    I think all you do is open her up undo the few bolts , yank the centre out and replace

    How to: Source your own diff gears and remove them yourself
