Default Exhaust hiss & valve cover gasket replacement.

    Hey all,

Just got a few quieries to run by you.

Just had the car idling whilst I pumped up the tires and noticed a hiss noise coming from the left rear, sounded like the exhaust, but could be anywhere in the vacinity as its dark. The hiss was kind of like it was losing air, or the noise an air compressor makes when its full of air and not in use.
and NO it wasnt the servo air comp making it, as I checked it again when I got home, thinking it was either that, or maybe just a bit of cold air/moisture burning up. A 5 min drive should have got it all out yeah?

My other quiery is Valve cover gaskets. My car seem to have sprung a bit of a leak around the spark plug area. I assume that VCG is whats needed unless there are any other parts I should look at.
How much would one cost, where could I get one & is it easy to do yourself?
My commo is at the 320,000km mark, and I've just serviced it. Is there anything I should check around this age and km's?

    Cheers for any help

Valve cover gaskets are easy to do. The drivers side being easiest.
Like said above, get a manual for the car.
I have one and I have learnt a fair bit from it.
    It's a good read too.
