Reset ECU

How do you reset the ecu in VS auto ute, put cai in and dual batteries now have to reset computer is there any particular sequence for doing this

disconnect the battery for 5 mins or pull the ECU fuse, if you have put dual batteries im guessing you have already had the battery disconnected so it will be reset.

I know if you disconnect battery or pull engine fuse will do this, is there a sequence to follow once you put the fuse back in / connect the battery, let idle to warm up or lift revs to a set point etc

Ive noticed in the workshop manuals that the VN to VR engine needs to be revved to 2000 RPM for a few seconds after the ECU has been reset which allows the the IAC valve to reset.The VS manual does not mention this process at all.Ive never bothered doing it with my VS and Ive never had a problem with it.

A battery reset just clears error codes. All the AF figures are written into the memcal.
