    Default Fuel starvation problem

    hey all,

Just replaced my fuel pump in the wagon and now every time im about 1/4 full and the car is on a left hand slope it wont start....... yes i know its a fault ive done a search on how to fix but to no avail...... quick fix ive been doing is to 1) not loet it get below 1/4 and 2) carry a 2 litre jerry can filled with pertol around and when it happens just pour it in and it fixes it.

so my question is does anyone know how to fix the problem or is it just something i have to live with??

    cheers

common problem - you didnt plug in one of the hoses to the sender from the surge pot inside the tank.

return line will of come away from the swirl pot. There is a really good wright up on here somewhere of how to fix it, it does involve cutting the fuel talk open and re-welding it, unless you have tiny hands and arms so you can get your hand in there

its a GOSS as well but i doubt its the pump, anyway im waiting for the next week so i can go to Brown Davis and see if they can make up a sealable hatch on top of the tank so changing it in the future will be easier
