If its just a normal wheel nut thats to big for the wheel brace you have, then try a socket on them.Use an extension bar as well as the rachet ..If its a locking nut you mean, I saw my dad undo them locking wheel nuts that need the special adaptor nut thing,he undid them just with one of them 4 way wheel (brace) spanners. He just fitted it over the lock nut and undone it.When he told me about it I didnt believe it until he showed me.It worked excellent.Undone them easily. He had lost the adapter nut thing for them or hadnt got one when he bought the car..He said he just tried the 4 way brace and it worked.Id never have thought it would undo them without the adaptor nut.

Try in the glove box or the centre console first, the tool might be there somewhere.

Spare tyre well? If you can't find it you should probably contact the previous owner.

If it's a locknut, just bang a socket on there to remove. Then replace with a standard wheel nut.
I have also seen locknut removal done when it would not turn with the above method. The guy took off the 4 good nuts leaving the locknut on. Then dropped the jack quickly snapping the wheel stud, it did take a few goes. Replaced the wheel stud and put on a new wheel nut. All good now.

Presumably you have alloy wheels are missing the security nut socket.
If you take it to a tyre dealer, they usually have the tool to remove them.
