Vr V8 Throttle body TPS?

Hey just installed a 70mm throttle body onto my ss, and it doesnt change gears till about 3.5k - 4k, and when it does it's a very hard change, so i swapped it back to my old throttle body, and it's still doing it now, is there a special way to install the tps?

Also on the tb i baught it was from mace, and it has a bigger metal shaft for the tps to sit on, so i dont need the spring, washer and plastic clip setup that my old one has?

I got a mace 70mmtb on my vn ss, I had to put that plastic sleeve on my shaft, otherwise the engine light would come on. Put it on & bang no engine light.

yeah that plastic sleeve is to small for mine :/, just done error codes, ended up with 12, 21, 43.

Code 21 - Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) - Voltage Too High - Auto Transmission Only
Code 43 - Knock Sensor Circuit or Sensor Fault (Due to foamy was to high on v and accidently put Knock Sensor: On lol, he replaced it, just in the mail thats all.

How can i fix that TPS?
