Brakes arent something you should mess around with unless you know exactly what you are doing.Especially brake conversions.Id be taking it to a mechanic and getting them to check it all out.Something is obviously not right with it.

Caliper bolts, check them. In general check that the caliper is secure, they can knock around if there lose.

As Brett_jjj has already stated, take it to a qualified mecahnic to get it checked; before you kill yourself or someone else.

I did have my mate who is a mechanic tell me they should go on with no probs, so i'll get him to sus it out and see what the go is. The knocking noise not all the time, just when I put the brakes on, it dosn't seem to affect the braking capacity, just more annoying than anything.
