    Thumbs down orange/ amber light on speed alert on and car not starting

    hey gys i need some help i have a '96 vs executive and i have just run all my audio stuff and given it a wash engine bay and all that and now when i go to start it it doesnt even try to turn over any help would be helpful im thinking maybe water on a spark plug or logged help with the solutions will be great cheers guys

    If it was water in something its not going to stop it turning over unless it got into something like the START relay near the fuses under the bonnet.It sounds like a bad connection,what did you have apart to fit the audio stuff?Hows the battery,turn the headlights on and try to wind it over and see if the headlights dim a lot (or even go out) or just dim a bit.

    sweet i will do that if its the start relay how do i fix that?? battery is fine all the interior lighting works e.g. map light etc cheers mate

    Just swap the start relay for the horn relay (they are the same type) and then see if it starts..

    my vs did this when my battery died, all interior lights etc still worked just not enough power to start

    could i charge it overnight to see if that helps?? or not also horn doesnt work fuse or not it is an after market woodgrain sterring wheel?? cheers fellas

    I'd charge it for as long as possible and leave the car parked in the sun with the bonnet up to dry all the connections that got wet. Commodress don't like water especially around the oil pressure switch and the coil packs and if you try and start when it's wet you can damage the electrics and then it costs $$$$..
    Running a powerful audio system will flatten a battery in less than a few hours.

    if its auto is it in park wouldnt be the first person to do an audio install and forget to put the car in park again and wonder why it wont crank
    I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong

    i havent fully completed my install as of yet and i made sure when i had finished what i was doing i put it back correctly and i will charge it but i dont think there is going to be much sun in mlebourne in the next week lmao

    hey guys it was the battery dead flat and now is working cheers for the help.
