Boot wont shut
I was fckin round with the lock but couldnt figure it out.....can anyone help???
lock could be locked does it try close or just sound like metal on metal
yeah it does but i flicked the little lock thing both ways and it still wouldnt shut!?

It could be a broken spring inside the latch - mine failed and I had to rope the bootlid down. I pulled the latch apart (had to grind some rivets from memory) and found the return spring inside the latch had gone. Found a similar looking one and bodgied it up...still going after 2 years. I think it's fairly common.

yeah it seems something simple im sure if i have a real good look ill find the problem
