Oil Light always on.

Hey guys,
Ever since ive had my car, after a major service, even just after topping up the oil, the oil light comes on while the key is turned to "accessories" and turns off when i start the car. What could be the problem?

thats pretty much normal man,

its not a low level light, its a low oil pressure indicator, thats y it stays on without the engine running and goes out when u start it.

Yeah,it lights up on accessories just like the other warning lights do, and goes off when you start it because basically its a test to show the warning light bulbs and their systems are all working ok.
