change live axle lsd oil

hey, just wanting to know how to change the oil in my live axle lsd.
do you drain it with the last nut at the bottom, and to fill it up take the plastic plug off?
what sort of oil is best to use and additive? its a 3.89 ratio.

Yep, remove bottom nut to drain and go get some specific LSD Diff Oil and i think i used a little hand pump to fill it back up when i did it.

Jack up the rear end so the bung hole is more accessible. If you don't have a pump to refill it use a small funnel. You can add some Nulon G70 to the LSD oil if you like, it quietens it.

Car should be level to get the oil level in the diff right so you need to jack up the whole car and keep it at the same level it normally sits onthe ground.

i used penrite lsd diff oil in mine, the container has sort of a pull out straw thing in the lid which makes it easy to fill up
