vs bcm key

I have tried researching but am very confused now,
On a vs v6 auto

If I am doing the manual conversion and found wiring is different and computer.

If i plug in a t5 vs manual ecu and wiring do i need to get the bcm or key reprogrammed
to the ecu?

no.

only in vt onwards does the bcm have to be 'programmed' to the ecu.

vr and vs use a more primative system
