    Exclamation vr wagon Shaved boot

hey guys was just wondering if full boot shaving on a vr commodore wagon is ok even if you mount the number plate to one side of the rear bar. and do you need to be able to manually open the boot from the outside like the doors. help please?

it would look alright i guess but as long as the plate has light on it at night and its visible shuold be fine. what about a ute rear bumper and mount the plate on it, just a suggestion. also with the lock, what about the handleless latches with the press and relese.

i would also check with the local authrities before spending lots of money and you get defected.

Would it be possible to use a Statesman remote/BCM and rig something up to pop the boot like on a sedan? If you could do that then I couldn't see a problem with it. Best to check with the RTA or whoever in your state first though. Obviously the number plate needs to be able to be illuminated wherever you put it. I've removed my rear wiper completely and it went through roadworthy no problem in Vic.
