can any one tell me if a standard vr guard will bolt on to a vr statesman?

You could try it, but you might need to buy a new indicator as the Stato guards have a longer cutout for the indicator.

underneath they are the same car so it will physically fit, however the statesman bumper won't fit on there as the indicator cutout on a commodore guard finishes noticeably closer to the front of the car.

the headlight and indicator are the same between a commodore and statesman btw, just the commodore has more of it hidden from view behind the guard
