    bosch internal fan alternator.

    bxh1333 i'm pretty sure

should be 85amp, unless its been replaced at some stage with the 100amp, or possibly the mitsubishi 120amp unit.

If you are upgrading the output of the alternator (more Amps) I would also upgrade the wiring from the B+ terminal of the alternator to the positive battery terminal. Your large system is pulling current out of the battery so the alternator needs to put it back in.
Standard VS wiring in this circuit is at the maximum in standard form.

the 120a unit is a direct fit, no modification needed to mount it. it was fitted to police, telstra etc vehicles
although, as has been said, i would be also ugrading the cable from alternator to battery.

I have one on my car, hasn't burnt any wiring so far and I run it to the max sometimes.

I got mine directly from Holden, they were the cheapest place believe it or not, though I get everything for trade price. Interestingly enough the 120amp alternator is cheaper than the Bosch 100amp unit. I think I paid $280 or something.

I can't find the receipt any more, but sounds about right.

The B+ terminal is the main connection at the back of the alternator. The cable that runs to the battery is bolted to it.
