Default Double row timing chain - cam sensor?

There is no hole for the cam sensor magnet on the rollmaster double row sprocket. Do i simply not use the magnet?

The engine will run like crap ,and there will be errors set in the ECU and the engine light on the dash will be on if there is no cam angle sensor signal.Ive driven a V6 with a stuffed cam angle sensor and it ran terrible like it wanted to stall at idle all the time.

So what do i need to do? This is definitely the right product, it says "ecotec" on the box. Surely Rollmaster wouldnt make a product that ****ed your car as soon as you install it.

if its a T5 and is running a manual tune it wont be useing it anyway so just leave it out even auto it will just revert to firing all the injectors at once like vn you cant normally tell the difference when driving weather its plugged in or not

Edit. ^^ Bugger. So how does Rollmaster expect us to use this product? Anyone use it? Is there a way to tune around it?

If its just a solid metal cam gear, maybe you can get someone to drill the hole through it so the cam angle sensor magnet can be fitted.

I just rang Romac and apparently this is one of the older batches designed for racing purposes. They said send it to them and they'll replace it with one that has the magnet hole.
