(SA) vr auto converting to manual, rego help

is there anything i should know before doing this conversion, can i just say to transport sa that i have converted the car to manual and they will just swap it or will it need to be looked over and get a engineers report etc? cheers,

i dont know anything about the regulations but i cant see anywhere on my rego papers that specifys whether its an automatic or manual , maybe just dont tell them?

u dont have to tell them anything like that the only thing u have to do is if u swap engine tell them the new engine no so they can update u rego i deal with regency park on a weekly basis u may have to update u rego to say manual but thats up to u most time they just ask u if its auto or manual and thats more insurance
