Weird things that happened to your car whilst...
Well, the other day my mate and I replaced the three pulleys and belt on my car which in turn somehow made my transmission feel a lot smoother and change better when before it was rough with it's gear changes and laggy.
Anyone had something similar to their car?

Probably just psychological but if the pulley bearings were really bad they would make a bad noise and create extra load but you wouldn't think it would be enough to affect performance.
I think that unless we 'think' our car runs better after we play/spend money on it, we'd soon give up the game.

No.. My transmission did have some troubles. there slightly there still but not as bad.
It's really weird.
