Hey guys.
Reading some old school holden tech articles, Saying that the supercharger oil needs to be serviced everyonce in a while.
Anyone have any idea on how to do this?
Thanks.

A quick, clean and easy way to do it is as follows.
1. Get a trigger spray pack and take the trigger unit off the bottle so you have the pick up pipe and the trigger unit.
2. Undo the filler plug on the side of the blower, this is the silver looking plug that has needs an allen key to undo it.
3. Place the pick up pipe of the trigger spray pack in the hole and start to pull the trigger, make sure you have a container to catch the oil in.
4. Keep pumping until all the oil is out
5. Refill with the correct oil for the supercharger, the Holden stuff is stupidly expensive, the Yella Terra oil is far better priced.
6. Do not over fill.
Be warned the oil smells really, really, REALLY bad.

Taken from the eaton website.Q: How often do I need to change the oil in my supercharger?
A: The sealed oil reservoir in a supercharger is designed to last the life of the vehicle. Changing the oil is not recommended unless you suspect contamination, leakage, or other issues like bearing failure. Also, if your vehicle has an abnormally heavy duty cycle, such as racing or towing, you could consider changing the oil at regular intervals such as 20k, 30k, 50k, or 100k miles depending on usage

Id still change it regularly anyway if I owned a super6.
the car has 240,000k's, the guy before me owned itsince 150,000 and never serviced it.
