    Default VR Berlina Indicator.

I'm having difficulties removing the globe socket from the left hand front indicator. Despite having little room to work in because of the wiper filler tube, the socket seems to be stuck fast. I can't budge the right hand side either. I tried removing the indicator unit to gain easier access, but that's not as straight forward as it seems. Can anyone tell me the best way to loosen these sockets up so I can replace the bulbs?

    Thanks.

They should be just the normal push in and twist type bulbs.Give them a good push and turn them at the same time. They might be rusted into the holders. If they are ,you might have to remove the headlight and remove them that way.Ive run across a couple of bulb holders that have been rusted up,and I had to break the glass of the bulb and get some needle nose pliers onto the metal part of the bulb to remove it.Hopefully yours wont be that bad.

Thanks mate. Look I tried pushing, pulling, twisting and swearing. Nothing works. It's like the damn socket is welded shut. I'll try and remove the entire unit again lol.

According to the workshop manual to remove the headlight, remove the two screws on top of the headlight, and two underneath the light, the two bottom ones are accessable from the front of the vehicle straight in under the headlight.
