    Default HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! brake light issues

    hey guys i have a 1996 vs executive it has a spoiler on it which is alll connected nd stuff lol
    the problem is that the RHS, high mount brake light and the spoiled led brake lights are not working but the indicators,reverse and when the head lights are on they work but not the brake lighst the LHS braske light works but nothing else!

    can anyone help me out with some solutions please

    PS. i have checked the fuse's,globes,harnesses etc.

    Check if the bulbs are blown, and that the bulb holders are not corroded..Also check if the right bulbs have been fitted.

    ok i checked the one in the rhs tail light seems fine but will have a greater look in deatail 2morro cheers if its not that what else could it be??

    It was abit hard to understand your post.

    If NO brake lights are working, then it will be the switch on the brake pedal.
    If only one of the brake lights is working (when your foot is on the brake) then it is the looms or globes, usually just one of the filaments in a globe is broken (assuming you have the 2 filament globes in in the first place)


    I had the random lights problem in my VP, and i just replaced the whole looms, and globes, and everything was sweet after that.

    cheers mate are the looms cheap from a wreckers??
    also i will have a look at the globes and just replace them all at the same time.... good idea??

    Can't tell you how much they are, was years ago i replaced mine (and since i replaced the rubber seals for the lgihts at the same time, they havn't leaked, thus no needing new looms since).

    Couldn't hurt to replace all the globes at the same time.....

    checked the globes one filament was gone and checked the highmount globe and that was burnt as so theres the solution thanks for ya help guys!!

    also the spoiler light is not connected can you tell me how you connect it??
