Piece of piss if u pull the assembly out of the car. Drop the panel out from under the dash, disconnect the throttle cable from its slot in the pedal arm, remove the 3 nuts securing the assembly to the fire wall and head to a work bench. Release the tension on the spring by pushing it down and to the side. You'll find the pedal is secured by a roll pin. Grab a hammer and a suitably sized punch and knock the roll pin through the arm and remove it. Stick your old pedal in the bin. Fitting of the new pedal is pretty much a reversal of this process, just be sure to make a note of which way the spring came off. Cheers.
