    Default Holden vs commdore modifications! Need help.

    ok heres the story.

    mods i have on my car so far:
    - 2.5 exhaust
    - high flow cat
    - extractors
    - 3.9 diff gears
    - lsd diff
    - pod filter with custom piping
    - stage 2 shift kit
    - bt1 computer ( ecu )
    - alot of interior mods...
    - motors done 190,000.
    - v6 3.8 ecotec with polished planum cover!

    i want to modify the car more for power, freeway races, take off etc. i kno any mod for power will drain more fuel, i just wanna kno my options and costs. ive spoken to heaps of mates and dont know where to go next. ive been told heads, cam, ss air intake, oversized injectors, high ratio rockers.
    money is the next issue, for my next mod i wanna spend around 1000. and in a month or so ill spend another 1000. and so on ..

    if anyone has any info on wa tto do next or WHERE to go to get quotes (melbourne) ur help would be very appriciated!

    Heads and roller rockers, then a tune.

    If you are keen, turbo it after that - be sure to beef up the trans first tho.

    you can cross out the ss custom intake if youve done the pod filter plumbing right.
    next i would contact delcowizzid for a custom memcal (wont cost you much) , then id probably save and go a cam then roller rockers. (id suspect you would want to do roller rockers > cam > memcal in that order but im far from an expert)

    i would do all your engine mods and trans mods first than a tune. no use getting a tune than spending more money on more mods that wont work with the tune. it may not be sutible.
