Default Where to put sub's in VR ute?

Ok, i've got a pair of 10" MTX sub's in an enclosure and my problem is..........where the f*^k do i put them in my ute? Don't really want to change the enclosure as it's perfectly tuned for the 10's, amp' and head unit.

    Any ideas guys?

Under the floor in the deck. There is a panel you can lift up. Wont be so flash, being in a seperate compartment though. Otherwise you might be able to fit it behind the seats, or rip out the glovebox and modify your heater box to fit it there.

you will have to change your box. I had mine behind the seat too start with. but moved it next to the fuel tank and jsut opend up the ports. as for not being to flash its the same concept as being in the boot sound is just as good.

Same concept as being in the boot, which is flawed too. Sound is all about moving air.

    Cool Sub in vs ute

Yeah can be done, just put a band pass box in my son's VS ute under the rear tray, you can buy the box from Auobahn or make it (father cabinet maker just gave him drawing and measurements and he made it) it runs a 10" polk sub and is ported into the cab, sounds good to. a bit of messing around but dont have to worry about losing room inside or in the tray area or cutting through any steel behind the driver, with a bit of searching on these sites you can find eveything you need to know about fitting etc, make sure though that it is a sealed enclosure, no fumes, heat etc into cab from the plate you remove from behind the seat, nearly exact size for the port, son is rapt in the sound
