    Default VR Diff

    Hey guys,

just wondering if anyone out there has any idea on if i have a standard diff or not.

    At 100KPH im doing 2450RPM.

is this what all Vr manuals do?

    and also,

does anyone know how much it will cost for me to get the diff rebuilt, cause it sounds alot like an old taxi at the moment,

    cheers

If its making noise, the inside of the diff might be ****ed, putting more stress on the engine raising the revs?

Just grab one from the wreckers and chuck it in.

I have a vr auto converted to manual. It used to do low rpm but after converted it does around 2100rpm@100km/h and around 2500rpm@110km/h and i believe its still got the standard diff

its a factory manual, i had holden run the vin number for me.

i think someone might have had the idea of putting an auto diff in it.

i mite just take it out and re-do the lsd.
