    Default fuel maybe??

Thinking i might have fuel related problems? Car was chugging like a bitch for about 30 seconds when starting this morning before evening out to a normal idle. Also blows a couple seconds of black smoke when starting up. All good after that. No engine lights. Any ideas??

It could be a leaking injector. The black smoke is a sign of the engine running rich from the fuel as it is burned off from the cylinder and it clears itself and starts firing. The running rough or misfire at startup is also a sign of a leaking injector as the cylinder wont fire until the excess fuel is cleared.

A few people have told me its most likely the Fuel Pressure Regulator?

Apparently what happens is over time pressure drops in the fuel lines which is caused by a faulty fuel pressure regulator.

My mates brother apparently had the same issue and replacing the reg fixed it.

    Sound accurate?
