msd 8224 coil pack

just wondering if anyone has put an MSD coil pack in there ride and if there worth the money
and also msd ignition leads ?

some people will say they are and some say the arnt worth it, i was told they are only a replacement coil for the stock factory coil pack, and also was told the factory supercharge 6 coil packs are better then the msd packs.

with the leads id say the are just as good as any other after market lead on the market.

so your saying the factory supercharge coil packs are better, but can i put them on a non s/c engine ?

thats what i was told about them. as far as i no you can use the super6 coil packs on the standard 6

was talking to a guy on the weekend about the ignition system on his hotrod...he is using ICE and said it was a vast improvement over the MSD system it replaced...

ive herd of ICE not sure where to buy it from tho. 60HP gain???? if its a hotrod that would be a dissy and leads yeahs?

i just had a look on the ice website there for v8 blocks

60hp gain ? from just a ignition set up ?

yep mr-vx...was a complete kit dissy ignition coil leads etc...(rod has a 6/71 blower on it)...controls spark and timing apparently so it doesnt fuel up at lower revs...and yildi can only go by what he claimed cant say it was gospel...
