1998 VS V8 SS ute gearbox
Just wanted to know if anyone know what Gearbox it would be running? i can't check the vin plate as i don't have the car here, Is it still running the t5 or has it got the getrag? so does it have a cable clutch or hydraulic?

I would b saying getrag, hydraulic cluch because its a 1998 and the getrag came in series two
mine is a 98 vs v8 ute and it has a getrag

does the getrag have the slave cylinder on the input shaft like the t56?

They changed over to the getrag about the 4-5 month of 98,the easiest way to tell is the different gear knob, clutch fluid reservoir mounts on the brake master cylinder and lot lighter pedal.
all the limited addition ss utes came with the vt running gear so it should be a getrag box.

i have a 98 series 3 vs v8 ute. runs getrag with hydraulic setup. not sure bout series 2 98 though.
