vibration when in gear vs series 3 ute

Hi all

Got a vibration problem when i put my ute in drive , only at a standstill when i first start
the motor it runs smooth but when i shift into drive it runs rough , and when you start moving
it runs smooth as well . I have given it a full birthday new oil and filters through out , new high
tension leads , plugs the lot , What do you think ?

Just finished changing both engine mounts,Took 2 1/2 hrs you would,nt want to do it every day i know that, but best of all my problem is solved. I did not take the a/c motor of
because it made no difference.Just jack motor up so you can get a ring spanner on the under side and get it that way.Yeah both mounts were all split.

Sounds like the same problem as mine.
Will have to check my engine mounts out

Where did you buy your new ones from and how much did they cost?

I got them from supercheap at $57 each . Jack up your engine with block of wood between your sump and
the jack and get under your car with a light and check out your mounts, mine were all split . Now it runs
smooth as silk . Good luck .
