    Default VS Commodore, Front Left tyre Rubbing on Strut

    Hey all just wondering what yu all think would be the problem with my car,

    The problem is My Front Left tyre when i turn right Scrubs on my Strut Turning left going straight it is fine only time the problem occurs is when im Turning Right :S:S:S

    Anyone have any ideas of what the problem could be ??

    couple things, bent strut, worn camber (hub to strut) bolts, wheel berings loose

    any abnormal movement in the wheel/steering ?

    Na no abnormal movement at all,

    But the wheel bearing on the right side sqeeks rofl. so i know it needs to be replaces anyone suggest what my next step shoudl be

    Went today to get a front end alignment they told me they could only do the Toe cause it was scrubbin on the Strut..

    Did you ask them whats causing this to happen? It sounds like theres some very worn out parts on there that need replacing..Its probably dangerous.

    The adjuster on the strut could be wound all the way out causing the top of the wheel to be too close to the strut. When turning left the wheel angles in more and if the alignment is out, the scrub radius could be forcing the wheel over more, causing it to rub.

    Id be checking that the stub axle isnt bent or the strut. Did you buy the struts new?

    they dont have a stub axle its a bolt on hub

    hey mate i had this same problem on my vs and just wound in the camber adjustment screw on both sides a couple turns and it was sweet after that

    hey sorry about extremely late reply but ive tried that its still scrubbing but only when i turn left?

    Tire rod ends or ball joints aren't stuffed?
    If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
