VR interior
hii ive painted my dash in my vr pictures available just wondering if anyone has done the door trims and how the look cause i want the whole car too match

What type of paint did you use ? acrylic ? I thinking of doing the same but don't want to wreck the plastic.

yeah i grease and waxed removed it first then primed 2 coats of acrylic and 3 coats of clear for extra shine it came up really nice on the dash pieces and thanks boonga ill go have a look now

hii just a picture of how it looks did it in the same colour as the car if any likes it the code is 2F043 anyways i found it also spreying at 1round 20 to 25 psi the job turns out alot nicer just a tip

Hey mate, good on ya for getting out there and having a go, but it doesnt look all that good of a job, looks like a lump finish, is that just in the photo or is it actually like that? but good on ya for doing it, here's a pic of mine...
its just the photo cause it feels really smooth

what is a good Colour that goes with the gray interior with Fluro green Dash lights???

I really like what "customvlcommy" did to his.. i am just trying to find a good colour. i have done all the lights (well if they worked) LED fluro green with Neons in both Footwells ( if they worked 2, cant seem to get Smoko lighter to work)
Any sugestions on the colour?

i just did mine the same colour as the car which
mate i did mine about 2 years ago. any plastic part that you can pull off is paintable and you cant damage with paint.
use wax and grease remover.
Plasti primer
Colour
then clear.
you dont need to use vinyl die as long as you use a good quality plasti primer.

Looks good, ill be doin the same soon, in black doin the whole surround though above the cd player n stuff
yeh im still yet to finish it lol.
all that you see that isnt blue will be getting painted black. (Y)
done some more over the past few days ignore the mess and crap everywhere this is it now
looking good, did u do your door trims and dash in the car??im thinkin of doing my doors aswell but leavin them on the door, and masking everything else up

yeah did the door trims and dash as well cause the red didnt go with the grey i like it just had to mask the glass up and edges of the doors

Haha well this may sound a little gay but... i carry around a squirty bottle of Amour All Waterless wash and a squirty bottle of Amour All Shine polish
haha mines already all dustyi just go over mine with a microfibre cloth everyday
