    The spacer would have to be specially machined so that the spring still locates correctly. I don't think there is such a thing available. Just get some super low springs and get the re-set by a suspension workshop.

    I had a bit of spring sag on the left side so that when I hit a bump my tyre would scrub on the wheel arch. Fulcrum fitted a 10mm spacer to fix it, and all good, so it can be done.

    Can someone tell me what Spring - pad means on page 42 of 120? Its got a few different sizes. Not sure if they're pads that go under the spring to raise it maybe?

    For the rear, get some thicker rubbers out of the back of a VN. these will only gain you 10mm or so.

    You can get nolathane spring rubber things, i dont know what you call them but they sit under the spring. Newer and nolathane ones have to give it a bit of a raise.

    As mischa has said, Nolathane has spring seats or spacers. Had them in my VS Calais with no issues whatsoever. They have 6mm and 10mm thick rings that sit under the spring to raise the whole setup. Replaces the often worn out factory spacers.

    Two key points to consider;
    a) Unsure of legality but would not surprise me if they are a defectable item, or if they fail a roadworthy.
    b) My Calais had IRS. I'm assuming you're referencing to the Executive mentioned in you're ride which may have a Live Axle. Unsure if they'll suit, so ask first.

    Depends on what size rims your running. I have super lows all round and it's about 2 cm's off the tyre all round when full of fuel. Rim's are 15" ceptors.

    Only new to this guys, Need a bit of help, i brought a set of 20,s for my vs calais, they fit perfect on the back but on the front they scrape on the guard that the spring sits in, i put 8 mil spacers on them but still not enough, if i go 12,s it will scrape my guard, any ideas i how i can fit them without them hitting the spring cover?????

    first of all nice thread dig lol and your post has nothing to do with the thread anyway so your would be better off starting your own thread.

    as for your question you might have to get coilovers. someone might have a better idea but thats all i can think of, that way you can remove the spacers so the wheels wont rub on the guards and the coilovers dont have that large spring seat so you wont have to worry about it rubbing there.

    you need raised upper spring insulators, you can get them in a 5mm and a 10mm raise, there just a taller version of the factory insulator, they go on the top of the spring to the body.
    nolathane, superpro, whiteline and pedders do them in polyurethane and pedders also do them in rubber.
    i have a 10mm pedders rubber set here you can have for $40.00 if interested.
