Level 3 dash speedo not working after upgrade

OK, after changing my dash over to a level 3, my speedo isnt working
I took it around the block and nothing, not even the digital one works on the dash.
As this was converted from auto to manual, would it be the purple white wire not connected properly
somewhere? I have checked it where I joined the wires when patching it into the loom and all is OK there, everything else works on it, except the distance till empty doesn't seem to give a correct reading, everytime I reconnect the battery it changes different readings, from 190 to 140km.

If you put the original cluster in - does the speedo still work?

Inspect the back of the cluster - the tracks can fail.

Will check that out, I have a level 2 dash here will check it out with that one as im not even sure if the original one worked.
