    Default Last Resort Until $$

Ok went to service my gear box today in my ss (auto), and i looked under the car and the servo casing has a massive split in it, and is spewing oil.

Now was thinkin after a few beers, that product "need-it" if i was to paste that over the case and piston cover would it hold until i get some $$ for a t5 box. Or am i wasting my time.

i think there is a liquid steel type product called 'devcon' or something that a few bike riding mates of mine have used to bodge up cracked engine cases etc. i spose if u clean the area real good first before u apply the knead-it/devcon its worth a shot at least. it might hold up fine but i dunno if i would do any road trips with it

You would need Knead-it steel. also make sure you clean all fo the oil off with a solvent or it will leak or fall off.

defintley use the devcon. its called devcon-f, and should get you out of trouble till for a short time till you can get some $$. make sure the area is 100% clean of oil.

it wont work as there is pressure in the servo housing you would be lucky to make it out of your driveway with out it leaking again
