ok coudnt find a how to so ill wright one up quickley.
to just bleed the system on a VS vr simmilar
turn the heater to max hot
take the engine cover off with the 4x 10mm head nuts in each corner of the cover
get a coke bottle or old radator hose, or anything to get the level up high enough
open the bleed nipple on the top radator hose thurmo stat housing with a big flat blade screwdriver. not nessesry to remove all the way as it has a slit cut in the bolt.caution, dong it back up super tight can cause it to crack sometimes
fill the coke bottle with coolent or distilled/clean drinking water
wait till the streem comming from the bleed nipple is steady and no air is comming out.
tighten nipple
start the car and allow to idle with the coke bottle or simmalar still in place and allow to get warm.
shut down the engine and repeat bleeding till all air is out.
remove coke bottle, top up radator, replace cap.
test drive till engine at normal opreating temp.
check level in overflow bottle daily untill level stays at right level

other wise a pressure check is a good start to confirm any hidden leaks.
i just replaced my radator i noticed a leak awhile ago but coolent level was ok, few days later no more leak but level droped, i also did a 300km trip (check before leaving was ok) the drivers side tank was split - 2nd commodore to do this of mine
