vr manual gear box difference?

this will sound silly but i was wondering how to tell what gear box (getrag or t5) is in a vr ll v6? at the bottom of the bell housing there is 4 bolts.. if that helps? becasue i know they have dfferent bell housing..

getrag have linkages and is a much shorter box, t5's are longer and the shifter goes through the floor with no linkages

getrag didnt come out til vs series II so your VR will be T5, the getrag also has a fluid res near the brake booster for the hydraulic clutch
