    Default is it normal for the tensioner pulley to move slightly whilst idling?

    noticed this morning when i was looking for something else that my tensioner pulley moves up and down probably about 3mm whilst the engine is idling , is this normal?

    yeh mate thats fine no need to worry unless you can here it slipping constantly.

    If it clicks noticeably then it would need repalcing, but other than that it is normal.
