My vs clubsport has been off the road for 6 months. Did the usual service to prep for rego, oil, airfilter fuel filter. Was running prior to service but now cannot get it to start and the fuel pump does not activate on reds.(no sound) Any ideas would be appreciated, also have forgotton how to get the fault codes up to see if the fuel pump is cooked. Replaced fuel pump 2yrs ago. Does the immobiliser block the fuel pump?
Checking error codes VR/VS (Revised)
Here is the link for the 'how to' on reading the error codes. Scroll half way down once you open it, and there are good photos to help.
Make sure you let it go through the three lots of 12 it throws up first, then, if any error codes are logged, they will come after the three 12s.
Can't help you with the question about the immobiliser. I have replaced the fuel pump in my car a couple of times, relatively easy in a ute.
Probably worth checking fuses before dropping the tank, or get someone to hold a test light on the connector to the fuel pump while you turn on the ignition.
As you turn the ignition key from the off position to the start position, get someone to bang the bottom of the fuel tank with a rubber mallet or even hitting or kicking it hard. The jolt can sometimes be enough to free up the pump and get it running again. If the pump now runs after the tank is hit,Id replace the fuel pump the first chance you get,it will probably soon fail completely.Ive seen this happen a few times in these cars after they have been left sitting for a while(a few months) without being driven.

You can remove the fuel pump relay and bridge out the pins in the socket base that correspond to the normally open contacts of the relay. This will supply power to the fuel pump continuously assuming the fuse is OK. Turning the key only powers the fuel pump a few seconds.
After you bridge these pins out put a volt meter or test light on one end and this will confirm if power is present or not.
If the pump starts then it's your relay, if it doesn't disconnect the fuel pump wiring at the socket in front of the tank and check the end going back to the front of the car for power and/or earth. If there is power reconnect this plug and hit the tank witha rubber hammer to try and start the pump. It's worth also checking this connector for any damage or corrosion.
Thanks for the help everyone, will have a look at it tomorrow and make sure its not the relay, pump before i start looking at immobilisor/tracker.
