Vs Statesman 5lt Fuel consumption

Hey guys just wondering what sort of consumption you are getting in your 5 ltr vs's and what you can do to get better consumption i get about 17L/100km just thought that was a bit high . . . .

I get around 17L/100km too sometimes if im lucky it'll go down to 16.7L/100km lol

anywhere between 11 and 15L/100 depending on what driving im doing, i did manage to get it down to 9.7L/100 when driving to syd from melb, that was at night with the average temp at about 8 degrees.

mine normally sits on 10 or 11 on the highway at 110km

you have to remmeber these cars are like whales there not built to get great fuel consuption there build with comfort in mind look at your weight to a standard vs commodore just my two cents worth but in saying that mine when i had it use to get around 16l per hundred around town and 10 on the open road
