big bore without the drone?

hi all, iv get a vs ecotec sedan with the getrag manual box and solid axle diff, its got a nice mandrel bent exhaust on it (2 1/2 outside dia) it has one muffler just before the diff and straight pipe rear, it sounds ok i spose but it drones hard.
I am thinking of fitting a rear flowmaster muffler (single in twin out) with twin 3 inch tips, and replacing the muffler before the diff with a long coby resornater.
Anybody have a sysem like this? does it or will it drone? or any better ideas for a manual? thanx

I've got a single magnaflow at the rear in my vs caprice only very minimal drone. It'd be cheaper though just to stick that resonator out the back on the system you've already got.

Im also thinking of doing similar with my 2.5 catback, v6 drone is annoying at around 2300rpm, hoping a resonator instead of a hotdog will fix it.

fit a flex joint just after the diff helps a lot thats why theres one in the factory exhaust

my old vn had a flexy before the diff, it had pretty much the setup as my vs only its a auto, do drone tho. its werd how the manual drones and the auto dosnt???
