are you installing an electric temp gauge
if so you only need to run 1 wire through the firewall for the temp sender
can you poke a wire through one of the rubber boots in the firewall that already has wires going through it
if you do just dont force it through with something sharp

Go though were the heater pipes go though the fire wall - and use a little CRC to lube the hole .

The brown white wire supplies power to the globes in the cluster and dash switches. Hook into that and the earth to a black wire.

Yes there are a few brown white wires running in the VR dash loom. Pick the one right next to the purple white wire at the main dash plug connector by the drives air vent. Take a wire off that one and see how you go. You could also come through next to the main loom entry point. Take the window washer bottle out and you should have enough room. From memory there is nothing next to the main loom entry point.
