Exclamation Vr transmission & engine upgrade enquiries?

    Hello everyone.

I wanted to finally get some anwsers & I hope to get them from here
    I was wanting to upgrade my VR | 1994 | Comm | V6 | Acclaim | Sedan | 4 Speed Auto |

    1) Can some one tell me what Gear Box' from 5 to 6 Speed Auto fit on the VR Acclaim?
    2) And which ones would fit if I get a V8 Engine prior to a transmission change as well?
    3) What V8 Engines can I convert my V6 VR from by having an upgrade to a V8?
    4) V8 Engine Prices with fitting (approximattely if unsure)?

If you know of any places that may help me out, please include their Web Site & E-Mail Address below, many thanks..

best advise is to work out what you want and go for it.

v6 to v8 autos dont interchange with out ease.

if you are doing a v8 conversion and want a 6 speed auto than you are going to have to go with a 6 Lt

    wrong question

the correct question is would you wallet be able to fit a 6 litre into a vr.

do a search using the search function at the top right

Because everyone joins up, starts a new thread because they need someones help and gets this answer "do a search!" ya have to sift through 100 pages of that response to get an answer, and when u do finally get an answer its not quite what u needed or its not not quite the car u have with the same mods, or u need more info to understand!
So what do ya do?? Ya start a new thread and hope the guys who love commies wanna talk about em unfortunatly most dont, they sift through the help wanted section and tell people to do the obvious
